Proliant DL 380 G4

I have a Proliant DL 380 G4 server, I'm trying to install a 146Gb SCSI Hitachi Ultrastar 10K hdd, the server doesn't even see the hdd, what to do?

How did you come to the conclusion, that the server doesn't see it? Is it a supported HDD for that server model? Do the HDD LEDs come on when you power on the server?

hi,

 

Please update the FW of the controller and check again. Please keep in mind, that the drives needs to be "hp labeled" .
