Hello,
On the server was installed cpu intel E2160 pentium dual-core.
Installed cpu intel xeon 3060. When loading the BIOS writes "Unsupported processor", press F1 and continues to boot. Loading esxi 6.0 up and working.
Updated Systems ROMPaq Firmware Upgrade for HP ProLiant DL120 G5 Servers (For USB Key-Media) to version 2010.10.25 (A)(13 Dec 2010).
Updated Firmware Upgrade for HP ProLiant DL120 G5/DL180 G5/ML150 G5/ML110 G5/ML115 G5 Lights-Out 100 Remote Management (For USB Key-Media) to version 3.20 Rev. B.
The question is, why the message "Unsupported processor" continues to appear at startup?
Thank you!

Re: ProLiant DL120 G5 cpu xeon 3060 "Unsupported processor"
Thanks for the quick response!
This information is not seen.
The instructions (Overview) have information about the processors series Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® 3000 processor sequence. Strange, bios processor detects, the server boots up.

Re: ProLiant DL120 G5 cpu xeon 3060 "Unsupported processor"
I guess the system detects this CPU as unsupported, but somehow "downshift" it to work with, but probably not at full speed?
Who knows ...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
