ProLiant DL160 system health RED Memory issue

 

Dear supoort,

 

Today I found an issue on "System health LED" RED error on Memory  with server "HP ProLiant DL160 G6 S/N: CN702606KZ". Please check in attach file with the event log that i had capture from server. Please kindly help me to solving the problem soon.

If you want to get in touch with the support you should go to www.hp.com and click on 'contact hp'.

As for your memory issue, there is 'memtest86' that runs memory tests. You could swap the DIMMs inside the server to see if the problem follows the slot or the DIMM.

I haven't looked but maybe there are firmware or software updates on BIOS/diagnostics that fix problems like this.

Also, you probably shouldn't post your machine's serial number here.

I took another look at your picture.

 

You're not getting these uncorrectable ECC errors a lot. Once in a while is usually not a big problem. Especially as you haven't seen this error on this DIMM before.
