Proliant DL360 G3 crashed during upgrade to windows 2k3 enterprise
During an upgrade of windows 2k3 enterprise from windows 2000 advanced server, my server restarted as it normally would during an upgrade but when it came back up it did not recongnize my disk array. I have raid config of 1. When i try to install a fresh install it dose the same thing, It'll start the install but will then show up with an error message saying it can not recognize the C:/. I can no longer bring it back up on windows 2000 server either. Can some one please help me recover back to 2000 or continue with the upgrade this server was my Domain Contoller.

Re: Proliant DL360 G3 crashed during upgrade to windows 2k3 enterprise
Hi,
it sounds like a driver issue.
windows2003 EE 32-bit is supported on DL360 G3, so new install must work if an upgrade can't.
Like Karlo mentioned you can use Smartstart(i think better 7.7, 7.8. has problems).
You can manually try to install 2003 and choose the driver for 2003, it must override the one for W2k.
You can try to recover 2000 with F8 after POST and Lastknown good configuration, but if the driver is corrupt this will not work...
