Proliant DL360 G5 SCSI controller switches to asynchronous mode

Proliant DL360 G5 SCSI controller suddently switches to asynchronous mode. After reboot it starts normally in Ultra320 SCSI.
Is it a controller failure or a normal behaviour (there was 2 errors SCSI Port 1, Drive ID 0)?
