Proliant DL360 OS upgrade

how in the hell am i meant to put windows 200o on my DL360 i dont know where the original cds or manuals are for it.

smartstart doesnt support it!

i believe it to be a G1 server

You need smartstart 5.50 for this one to do an assisted install.
Obtaineable here:

use diskettes to create the array and f10 partition, then boot from w2k cd and choose f6 for additional drivers.

When OS is installed, run HP support pack 7.10 to update the drivers.

ok i have bought the smart start cd now (the correct one) but it asks for a server profile disk to be put in A: i have tried putting a blank in but this dosent work what do i need to do?

Is this an OS upgrade or a clean install? Smart Start doesn't have support for upgrades.

The server profile diskette can be downloaded here:

Once you run this file it will create the floppy.
