Proliant DL380 G3 - array status MS2003 server
Yesterday I had hanged server - when I was copying 1,3 GB from station. At this time third HDD (5 discs RAID5+HotSpare) was not blinkinkg, but arrow LED was parmanent light (when was hanged). After reset this started normally, but third HDD has no short blinking, but this take 1-3 seconds (or longer), other disc blinking only shortly. No problem in logs, no problem with starting, no red LED light on HDD.
Can I change third disc or I have (after removing)to stand for hotspare rebuilding?
What HP tool I can install/use for check array status?

Re: Proliant DL380 G3 - array status MS2003 server
You need ACU (Array Configuration Utility)
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121516&prodNameId=3288134&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-89533079b9d8428996e22f2bee
Check first it may already be installed on the server.
