proliant DL380 G5 uppgrad processor Problem
I have one HP DL380 G5 Storage Servers with the following PN:
P/N: AG453A
I have upgraded the default(Xeon 5150) CPUs to X5460 Quad Core CPUs But My server doesnot boot and there is no output in the monitor.
I read about two vrsion of mainbord of server with the P/N:
OLD Model Spare part # 407749-001
NEW Model Spare Part # 436526-001
but i cant find any thing in my board.
Please Help Me !

I have seen HP server boards do 5100-5300 and 5400-5500 and all. You probably have a board that only supports 5100 because they don't show another processor upgrade for it.

Beware. Prior to upgrading CPU's on any system, you must upgrade BIOS first.
