Proliant DL380 Interlock Light
I have a DL380 on the Motherboard the Interlock light is lit and it won't boot. I think it might be the riser board but I have reseated it a couple of times and it seems that it is in good. Any ideas or is that not what the Interlock light means??

Re: Proliant DL380 Interlock Light
Hello;
The interlock light means the riser is not seated...
They are famous for seeming to fit snugly and still being loose. I recommend undoing the screw, removing it fully and practically sitting on it to reseat it.
If it seated solidly and still giving you the interlock, replace the riser board.
sincerely,
Janine

Re: Proliant DL380 Interlock Light
Thanks Janine,
I guess I was just being too delicate with the darn thing. I pushed on it good and hard it sat down another mm and works fine now!
Thanks again!
