ProLiant MicroServer Gen8 Intelligent Provisioning isn't working after update
Hi,
I have two MicroServers Gen8, having problems starting Intelligent Provisioning, after running the latest SPP.
The first one is getting stuck on: "Reference error: dijit is not defined. Attempting to connect to RESTful API service". The second one is just stuck on the HPE logo animation.
Steps I did, if I recall the right order:
1. Flashed iLO4 from 2.50 to 2.82 using iLO4 firmware update.
2. Flashed BIOS to 2019 using iLO4 firmware update.
3. Ran automatic firmware upgrade from remote console, iso mounted as DVD. (Also tried USB key utility later)
4. I've tried the Intelligent Provisioning recovery iso.
5. I have tried formatting NAND using CMD and xml file. It shows formatted in iLO log.
6. Tried NVRAM reset.
7. Tried NVRAM and CMOS reset using switch no 6 on the motherboard.
8. I have double-checked the SPP and IP recovery hashes for data integrity.
Can you please help me get IP running?

Hello!
For the "dijit error" on one Gen8 MicroServer after SPP, try manually reflashing iLO firmware via the web interface and then try an older Intelligent Provisioning Recovery ISO. For the server stuck on the HPE logo, suspect a hardware issue: try minimal boot, check RAM, inspect the motherboard, and re-flash the BIOS manually via iLO, ensuring default BIOS settings. For both, wait longer during recovery, check iLO health logs, and if all else fails, contact HPE support with your detailed troubleshooting steps.

Thank you for your reply. It seems like you have made an account to help me!
I was able to get rid of the dijit error and run IP version 1.50. But versions 1.64 and 1.70/1.74 give me "Attempting to connect to HP Restful API service". I've tried recommended troubleshooting, but with no luck. I run stock hardware.
Haven't had a chance to work with the second machine yet.

Thanks for coming back to me.
I recovered the unit that was getting stuck on the HPE logo screen. The second server is now free from the "dijit" error, but it gets stuck on "Attempting to connect to HP Restful API service" when loading the IP. IP version 1.50 worked, but anything above gives me this error. It has stock hardware, no addons. I followed the advisory steps. Reset CMOS and NVRAM, reset iLO from the web interface, as well as format NAND using an XML file. Not sure what you mean by "Reset the server to default settings and iLO." Is there anything else to reset?
The only thing I know that I didn't reset is the F8 -> iLO defaults, as this will close my web interface. But I did it when I acquired the server, as I remember losing the license.
