Proliant ML110 G4 graphics nightmare
I have located 2 threads in this forum about the g4 graphics but they are not conclusive, hence this request.
I want to install server 2003 and have a flat panel TFT with a native res of 1600*1200.
The onboard graphics of the G4 are just about useless at this resolution.
Problems:
I cannot dissable the onboard graphics.
I have tried a PCI-e and a PCI ATI Radeon 7000 which is on the HCL. both without success.
both cars work until windows tries to up the resolution at which point i get a black screen or a blue BSOD Stop 0x00000005.
Please:
Does anyone know what card i can fit that will give me 1200*1600 without conflict under server 2k3?
