ProLiant ML110 G5 Processor Upgrade
Hello everyone,
I have a ProLiant ML110 G5 with a Dual Core Xeon 3065 @ 2.33GHz. I wish to upgrade to a Quad Core processor but the HP Supported Processor list is somewhat out of date.
Can anyone tell me what Core 2 Quad processors are compatible please? I'm interested in the Q9660 processor particularly.
Many thanks!
Ady

Re: ProLiant ML110 G5 Processor Upgrade
Hi, I can't advise you specifically but the cheapest and easiest option is probably to buy a discount ML115 G5 (quad-core Opteron) and migrate your disks/ram/controllers.
FWIW I doubt the Q9660 would be a goer as it is a 45nm 95W chip vs 65nm 65W for the 3065.
