PROLIANT ML110 T01 RESTORE SCSI DRIVER
I am trying to restore a ghost image. When I try to restore the image it fails on a write to the boot sector. The drive has a scsi interface. I can restore to an IDE drive. I have looked and looked and can't find any bios or switch settings that protect the boot sector of a scsi drive. I have tried several drives, all fail exactly the same way. There doesn't seem to be any scsi bios setup either.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Re: PROLIANT ML110 T01 RESTORE SCSI DRIVER
Was you image taken from ATA or SCSI drive? If the former is true, then this could cause the trouble.

Re: PROLIANT ML110 T01 RESTORE SCSI DRIVER
Image was from the original scsi drive in the ml110. Was able to restore the image to the drive by moving the new drive to another PC. The problem is the ML110. Somewhere the bios is protecting the boot sector.

Re: PROLIANT ML110 T01 RESTORE SCSI DRIVER
You are probably correct with pointing at BIOS - it probably has some kind of switch protecting boot sector against viruses.
