Proliant ML310 Gen 8 v2 startup failure
To date I have not been able to solve a problem with my HP Proliant ML310E Gen 8 v2 server :
The server POST but stops when it is doing memory and QPI Link iintialization.at 20% with a continus noise and status code 0168. After this , the screen goes blank. I suspected the dimms and changed them without success ! It also behaves the same without any dimms ! It seems something else is not working properly ! Please, help.

Re: Proliant ML310 Gen 8 v2 startup failure
Hello,
yu should try to reseat all PCI Devices and the CPU, maybe this helps. You should also check the CPU Socket Pins/Springs if they are correct in Place....
best regards ré

Re: Proliant ML310 Gen 8 v2 startup failure
Hi,
Can you try the following?
Clear NVRAM from the System Board level, Switch 6.

If the server has two processors, try with a single processor.
Remove any PCI cards if installed.
Disconnect any external connections like Storage, USB devices, etc. keeping only the power and monitor connected.
Thank You!
