Proliant ML330 and Windows 2000 Professional
Is there a way to install Windows 2000 Professional on a Proliant ML330? I have tried using the smartstart disks but all of the options are for Microsoft Server OSs.

Re: Proliant ML330 and Windows 2000 Professional
Hello James,
We do not support Workstation software on our servers. You still can try installing the SW by going through the manual process of installing the OS. Smart Start process does have the option to do the manual installation. Obviously no option to install the workstation software you would find since it's not supported.

Re: Proliant ML330 and Windows 2000 Professional
James, try this
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/17320.html
It is a link to the drivers necessary. When installing WIndows 2000 Pro, choose F6 on the way in to specify a 3rd party driver. Then you can use the link above to download and extract the drivers to the floppy for use in the ML330. I'm not done the istall but so far so good.
My ML330 is a SCSI based system. I will not followup up here so good luck!
