proliant ml330 g3 -write cache
Hello, I'm installing sql server 2000 on a proliant ml330 . I would like to know how I can disable the write cache on the scsi u320 conroller.

Hi Gabriel,
You do not mention which model of Smart Array controller you have in your system however you can use the Array Configuration Utility (ACU) or ACUXE (Web Based) while online to set the cache to 100% read if necessary. You can also run ACU from the Smartstart CD.
Choose Controller Settings to change the configuration. There isn't a choice to disable the cache altogether as far as I am aware.
