Proliant ML330 windows 2000 repair problem
hello
I was trying to repair my windows 2000 server on Proliant ML330 and in the middle of the installation it asks for "Compaq Smart Array Controllers for Windows 2000" diskette.I have tried to download the driver but it is installable after logon.
The installation is not finishing because it can't find the disketter. Can anyone help me if you have encountered this before.
Thanks in Advance

Re: Proliant ML330 windows 2000 repair problem
you need PSP to install becasue it has bundles all drivers for ur server use. may be your when u repair it got removed.
use PSP 7.91 or if u want u can just select only this driver from smart start CD(means PSP CD).

Re: Proliant ML330 windows 2000 repair problem
Try booting off the smart start cd and launching the Windows 2000 setup program from it's installation CD; I've never actually tried to do a ~repair~ that way, but it should work (might want to take an image of the server first) -- that should install all the necessary drivers for the Windows 2000 installation process to find. Once you get it running be sure to install the latest psp.
