Proliant ML370 Network Problem

Hello

I have the following problem on a ML370 G3: Sometimes (every few hours to a few days) the contact to the network is interrupted. The server runs fine internally, but no contact to the outside. Ping to its own IP address is successful, but no outside contact. I can restor normal operation by running the diagnostics from the compaq CPQTEAM tool. After running this diagnostics everything runs fine until it suddenly stops...
Hardware: ML370 G3 Dual XEON 2.4 GHz
3Com Switch, 1Gb port
Cable to switch 4 metres (CPQTEAM test result)

Any errors from the switch?

No errors from the switch. Ih had this problem two months ago on the same machine with an other switch, 100 Mb ports only. It happend 2 or 3 times and then disappeared.
Two weeks ago, i had to change the swith to get more ports, first everything went well.
