Proliant ML530 - Adding Storage - Best method?
I currently have 6 18.2 Ultra3 15K SCSI drives installed on a RAID5 in the first cage, Cage A.
Cage B is blank, not used. Should I add 6 more 18.2 Ultra3 drives in Cage B? What are my other options? I'm out of storage space now.
Thanks.

Re: Proliant ML530 - Adding Storage - Best method?
You have 2 major options...
1. Add more disks to the empty cage
2. Replace existing disks with larger sized ones.
My opinion... don't waste money on smaller driver. It is likely that you will run out of space again and will only have to replace them. Instead, if you are going to add more drives, go with larger sized drives.
What is the OS on this server?
