Proliant ML530G2 and NetWare 6.5 installation problems
During POST it can see all 8GB of my memory, but during the Netware 6.5 install, it can see only 4GB. Also, it abends before the install is finished???
I can't find a new Smart Start or any reference to these problems on the HP site.

I'm not a Novell specialist, but maybe the next article helps you.

Is it an option to install Netware 6.5 with 4 GB and add the extra 4GB later?

Re: Proliant ML530G2 and NetWare 6.5 installation problems
As far as the memory goes anything over 4gb is used as virtual memory in NW 6.0 and as NSS Cache/Virtual memory in NW6.5 (NW TID10069653)
The abending issue can be resolved by installing the lastest BIOS update (SP25077).
