Proliant ML570

I have a proliant ML 570 with two drive bays.
The first bay is populated with 6 drives, but the Array controller will only pick up the six drives, none from the other Drive bay.

What the heck am I missing. These were shipped from another office, so no paperwork on the Servers.

is the second drive cage supplied with power and is it connected to the array controller?

As a standrad, the two drive cages are cabled to two SCSI-controllers on the system board. When using a SmartArray controller, each drive cage has to be connected to a separate port of your Array controller.
