I have an HP ProLiant ML350 G6 Server, I want to add a second processor. I'm going to buy an Prosesor Intel Xeon X5690. Is this processor compatible with my server?

Hi,

First of all make sure that the second processor is identical with the existing processor.

HPE does not recommend to have different model/ specification processors in same server.

As per your request, your intention to buy an Prosesor Intel Xeon X5690. But as per the server quickspecs https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/getdocument.aspx?docname=c04200238 and Option Parts https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01724557#N10038, the X5690 processor is not mentioned.

If need to have two processor configuration, purchase the same processor as the existing one available in slot 1, else purchase the two processors as per the documented above.
