QLogic hba part problem on DL380G5 embedded pci-e

I have an issue with a QLE2460-HP 4GB fiber fitting into one of the embedded pci-e slots on a dl380-g5. It came with the taller faceplate, and I need the shorter one. The taller one doesn't not allow the top cover to be put back on the server. I have not been able to find documentation listing a different part number for the tall/short faceplates. I have ordered two replacements (407620-001) and keep getting the taller one, but not the shorter. Help please!! I've even tried the QLogic website to no avail..
