"Cannot find hard disks to install Windows NT"

I am attempting to install a BASE INSTALL of Windows NT workstation. We lost the Windows 2000 Server Local Admin pass. We need to install Workstation to get access to the DISKS to back the data off before rebuilding 2000. When I begin install, no matter what I do I get an error "Setup could not find any attached Har Disks" I am having a brain fart, what's the easiest way to resolve this? I am STUCK! Is it the RAID CONTROLLER it can't find?

Re: "Cannot find hard disks to install Windows NT"

Hi, when installing nt4 you need to specify the mass storage drive by using the ?F6? key initially at the first blue nt setup screen (start taping the f6 function key) then you will have the option of specifying the masse storage drive. Now you will need the Compaq OEM driver depending on the type of array controller you . Check out the sp 14437 for the driver required the array driver for nt4 . Hope this will help. Although the workstation is not supported on these servers.
