Rage IIC

Just a quick question, I noticed that while ATI state that the Rage IIC is a 3D Accelerator, DirectX 8.0 reports no hardware acceleration. I'm using the current (July '01) Rage drivers from Compaq.

I know, you're probably wondering why I'm wanting 3D Acceleration on a server (and with a lowly Rage card at that), but it's more of an interest thing.

that is an interesting question..have you checked ATI's sight to see if they say anyting about it?
