I have a RAID 1+0 on a DL-380/Windows 2000 Svr. There are 2 18GB SCSI Drives, but only 5GB appears to be used. There's an additional 11GB available noted as "Unallocated". Can this be formatted and used? Is the RAID using it?

Definitely you can use it.
Go to computer management -> disk management, right click on "unallocated" space and select "create partition".
You will have option to assign drive letter, format disk and etc.

Ofcourse you can delete the hard drive and also create partitions in the unallocated space from hard disk management. do remember to close the thread :) good luck with the forum

The unallocated can be used to make another logical drive and can be formatted in Windows 2000 and used.
