RAID 5 Array
I have recently fitted a new HD into a Smart2-DH array. Logical Drive 1 will not rebuild, even after applying all latest firmware. I have tried another HD, still no joy. ACU reports that the HD in Slot 0 (not the one replaced) has exceeded it's threshold for errors. Do I need to rebuild the array from scratch or can I replace the drive in Slot 0 (bearing in mind the logical drive 1 is not rebuilt).

Re: RAID 5 Array
I've run into this before. If you are replacing a bad hd & another one in the raid 5 array is bad enough that array diagnostic is showing too many errors then you will have to replace both drives & restore from backup.
