Raid-on-Chip (ROC) and SCSI CD Writer

We have a dual processor ML370 with ROC and an AIT Drive. We have attempted to connect an HP 9200 SCSI CD Writer but we are not able to write to it with any CD Burning Software. The CD Writer is however recognised and appears in the list of Devices.
