RBSU OS Selection - Impact of selection??
Can anyone tell me what the impact is of selecting a particular operating system in the RBSU. Particularly, Linux verses Windows?

Re: RBSU OS Selection - Impact of selection??
I believe this has an impact on the resources which are set.
I do know if you're doing an assisted install of Windows, it'll fail if a different OS is selected. If you decide to do a manual install of Win2000, it'll typically hang with the message "setup is starting windows 2000" if the wrong OS is selected.
I'm not positive of the results if you're installing Linux, but Windows is selected. It's possible it'll install just fine.

The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Re: RBSU OS Selection - Impact of selection??
Terry,
I appreciate your response on this. However, I'm interested in this from an operational perspective rather than an install perspective. I seem to recall, somewhere, that there is something different about how resources are used by each OS and the server makes accommodations for this. I'm wondering what goes on specifically.
