Re: Proliant ML350 E200i SmartArray Controller Fails To Initialise
Hello,
I need help for a HP Poliant ML350 G5 : I get the message :
slot 0 HP Smart Array E200i controller initializing..... (HP in blue, SmartArray in red)
and after 2 ou 3 mn : -- self test failure --
I have changed the mainboard and the cage behind the hard disks (sas disks), and the probleme is exactly the same.
the battery of the smart array have been changed 6 monts ago, and a hard disk 2 months ago.
Please help me, it's very urgent (hostel's server in production)
Kind regards
Phil

Re: Proliant ML350 E200i SmartArray Controller Fails To Initialise
Phil,
better open your own thread!
However, a failed cache module will lead to exactly the same error. Even of the cache is removed, you will get this error.
Try to install a new cache module.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Proliant ML350 E200i SmartArray Controller Fails To Initialise
It's possibly a fw issue with the new disk.
