Hello,
The main board of our Microserver Gen10 was replaced and default SATA configuration has array support disabled.
Before replacing the mainboard we had a working RAID 1 array.
After replacing the main board the server recognizes boot disks as single disks and boots using one of then.
Is there a way to recover my previous RAID 1 array without losing my current windows server installation?
Thanks in advance for your help.

SolutionHi @Aobregon,
The below mentioned procedure may help you.
Important: Create a backup of your important data before attempting this.
First, check if your RAID configuration is stored on the disks themselves. In some implementations, RAID metadata is written to a specific area of each disk in the array.
Access the BIOS/UEFI settings>System Utilities>System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Storage Options. Enable "SATA RAID Option ROM/UEFI Driver" (or similar setting) & Save and exit.
After enabling SATA RAID support, reboot and access the RAID configuration utility by pressing F10 during boot to enter Smart Storage Administrator, Look for an option like "View existing array" or "Import foreign configuration". The system might detect your previous RAID 1 configuration.
If the system recognizes the previous array, you can select to import or activate it without initializing (which would destroy your data).
Please avoid any options that mention 'initialize', 'format', or 'create new' as these might erase your existing data.
Alternatively, You can consider reaching out to HPE Support for better assistance.
