Recover Data From Raid 5 With 2 HDD Failure

Hi,

I have dl320 g6 proliant server it has 4 disk with RAID 5 configuration, and I facing yesterday hard disk failure on one of these disk (disk number 4 from left to right).

When I have replacing this disk with new one, and starting on rebuilding process I facing other issue, where the rebuilding process is hang on 0% and other disk is blinking with red color (disk number 2).

Is this means I facing 2 HDD failure ? And should be replace 2 disk ?

If the 2 disk is failed how I can to recover my data from the RAID 5 ?

Note:

=====

The SO is windows server 2008 re and it's not booting because this failure.

The smart array controller is "HP smart array p410/256mb controller"

The HDD part number is "472483-002"

Thanks

If two disks in RAID5 have failed, then you are most likely out of luck and need to go to your backups.

Red typically means a failure.

Is it only one disk that is flashing red?

If so, then this is a pre-failure warning.

The disk hasnt actually failed yet, but it is recommended to backup and replace it ASAP.

If its all of them, then you probably have the ACU open with the logical drive highlighted, this is normal.

Is the disk you replaced flashing green to show that it is rebuilding?

What does ACU show the status as?
