Regarding SCSI controller setup

I have just bought our first Compaq server, and have been trying to figure out how to access the SCSI controller setup (like the one there is on a Adaptec 2940 card, where you press [Ctrl] + [A]). Is there a setup like this one or should I go about setting up the controller, the disk, and making a low level format in a different way ???

There is no SCSI controller setup . Boot to the SmartStart CD and run the System Configuration Utility . If your hard drives are attached to a Smart Controller , run the Array Configuration Utility . You don't have to low-level format the drives .
