IF YOU USE AN HP SMART CONTROLLER ....
hi,
if you use an hp smart controller all you have to take care of is :
- if you want to replace a sas disk you need a sas disk
- if you want to replace a sata disk you need a sata disk
- the replacement disk must be the same size or greater
- the RPM should be the same or higher (if you do not want to loes performance)
- make sure that the controler and the disks have curent firmware
that´s it!
