Hello everyone
I have a DL380 GEN 10 with 6 hard drives, it has the following configuration, the first two bays are RAID 0 and the last four are RAID 1+0
C = 278GB RAID 0 D = 2.2TB RAID 1+0
however, the last hard drive in the last bay was damaged. I am going to perform disk replacement, however this hard drive has different used space than primary hard drive.
What is the procedure to add a hard drive with different used space to the main or mirror hard drive?

SolutionHello,
When a working drive is inserted as replacement, the HPE Smart Array controller in the server considers the entire capacity of the disk being installed.
Ensure that you do not swap a SATA for a SAS or vice-versa.
As far as possible ensure that the drive inserted has the same capacity of the other hard drives in the array and not less, for this creates problem.
Regards,
