Replacing Failed Drive on Smart Array 641
I have an ML350 G4 with a 641 controller that contains 4 drives configured as RAID 5. The fourth drive was configured as an online spare. It has now taken the place of the failed drive.
When I replace the failed drive, will the new drive automatically become the spare? I can't seem to find anything in the ACU that would allow me to add or configure a new spare. I have not removed the failed drive yet or installed the replacement.

Re: Replacing Failed Drive on Smart Array 641
When you replace the failed drive, it will rebuild. Then your original on-line spare will be the spare again.
