Replacing SCSI array with SATA array on ML330 G3
I have an ML330 G3 server that is out of disk space. I looked at upgrading the disks to 5 300GIG SATA drives and I'm not sure if I can. What problems would I have if I install a SATA array controller and 5 SATA drives. I allready have a SATA controller installed and a 300GIG drive as the boot drive and it works OK. What performace can I expect from the SATA aray versus the SCSI array I now have.

Re: Replacing SCSI array with SATA array on ML330 G3
Hello Randy,
1.Any external storage box connected?
Not sure if you can plug-in 5 disks in the server internally.
2.SATA is perhaps not a tested option on this model.
