Rescue Data from SCSI HD
We will buy new DL380G5 with 2.5" SAS RAID.
We have to rescue the data in 3.5" SCSI HD which was mirrored by RAID.
How can we rescue the data from the old HD?
We have another ML350G3 in live.

Re: Rescue Data from SCSI HD
Then you would be able to access them.
Do you have a backup just in case:)

Re: Rescue Data from SCSI HD
Since the old server is
Dl380 g3
320 SCSI ├в Universal Hot Plug
Smart Array 5304/256/6404/256 Controller-283551-B21
Smart Array 6402/128 Controller -273915-B21
Smart Array Controller -273914-B21
Smart Array 641 Controller -291966-B21
Smart Array 642 Controller -291967-B21
128-MB Cache Module for Smart Array 5302 Controller
Dl 380 g5
HP Smart Array E200
HP Smart Array P400/512MB BBWC Controller
8 x 500GB with standard internal hot plug SFF SAS drive cage
Both the total architecture are different so as per the above said is false
You can try with transfer the data through the cross link cable and transfer all the data
If you have any backup device you can try (Dlt, lto, msl, autoloder)

Re: Rescue Data from SCSI HD
In order to fill up these 3 weeks we do need to rescue the HD.
DL380G3 died, how can I transfer the data with crosslink cable?

Re: Rescue Data from SCSI HD
Anyway, unless you have a spare DL380 G3, your closest machine is the ML350 G3 as I said.
You are in luck wrt to the fact the old array was a mirror, if you even have just a scsi card, you can access data off that drive.
Call HP if its important.
