I have a serial number of a dl proliant that i cant access physically, i would like to know wich proliant generation it is (G3,G4...)
How can i do this?

I have attached a basic WMI script that should return the part number, serial number, and asset tag from the BIOS. You will need to change the strComputername variable from RemoteServer to the actual server you want to pull this info from. This assumes the info in the system board/BIOS has been re-entered if the board has been replaced.
