RILO II in ML350G3
One of our clients has a Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition II board that they have fitted into slot 5 of a ProLiant ML350 G3. Initially the system appeared to work ok but after a few hours has started rebooting with the following errors logged by the system management logs.
POST Error: A Critical Error occurred prior to this power-up
ASR Detected by System ROM
ASR Reset Limit Detected by System ROM
PCI Bus Error (Slot 0, Bus 0, Device 5, Function 0)
We are wondering if the board is in fact compatible with the server or whether it should be in a specific slot other than 5?

Re: RILO II in ML350G3
- slot 5 perfectly good
- try to reseat card
- from F8 reset defaults and reconfigure
- make sure use latest firmware for card and system ROM for Server
- from diagnostic try to find what you have under device 5 and see if some resources allocation conflict
