RUNNING SYBASE ADAPTIVE SERVER

We have installed sybase server anywhere ver7. I can connect to the database locally using odbc but cannot connect from either windows nt workstations running nt 4.0 or windows 2000. Is there any tcpip services i need to install or is this a ms problem? Any help would be appreciated. It appears that sybase is of no help.

Do the workstation ping the server. Will the server ping the workstation. Can you copy files from one to another. I suspect you can. If so , there is a software problem somewhere. If not, lets troubleshoot the connectivity issue.
