SATA 6 HDD Capability?
We have a HPE ML30 Gen9 E3-1220v5 and it came with a HPE 1TB SATA installed in one of the four bays of the Smart Array.
We have changed this for four Enterprise SATA SSD's. Each physical pair of SSD's is in RAID 1. This all works fine and the drives are recognised as logical drives.
We would like to utilise the packaged SATA hard drive as another drive. However we have ran into problems.
We were unable to use the SATA 6 (blue) connection on the motherboard. The drive is not recognised by the system.
Does this require some adjustments in the BIOS or is there something else we are missing?

Hello @SolarSolve!
Sorry for delay with response. Is your question still valid?
Thank you!
