SCO 5.0.7 and Parallel port

SCO 5.0.7 and Parallel port

I've installed 5.0.7 on an ML350. When doing a mkdev parallel and assigning a parallel port I do not see it in the hwconfig and SCO complains it cannot create /dev/lpx. Any ideas? Never had problems with the older servers or O/S version
