SCSI BIOS not installed

Im a rookie. The company i worked for have a Compaq ML370 G2 with two Ultra3 wide SCSI hard drive. When I restarted the Server it displayed SCSI BIOS not installed Compaq Smart Array 5i initializing....when its done it says command failure..array controller not found...then gives me choices f1 to continue, f9 to run ROM based utility...etc. when choosing f1 display no system disk. There is a win2000 installed. the server has been running for 6 years now. I have tried replacing the cable to no avail. At start up, I chose f8 it sees the two scsi drives. any advice?
