scsi errors
I am trying to install a sun dlt 4000 tape.
Any known issues with this and with the scsi,it keeps giving me scsi errors.
I installed the quantum driver and updates for the scsi controller but it still does not work.
If I boot the server then I can backup and restore, the moment I try changes cassetes it cannot find it anymore and gets stuck.

Re: scsi errors
I am unfamiliar witrh any specific errors on the Sun DLT4000. You may try to run System Configuration Utility (press F10 at post) and under step 3 (view ort edit details) you can find the integrated scsi controller. Highlight the speed entry (auto) and hit enter. Then choose SCSI-1. This will slow down the scsi bus and may correct your errors.
