Server 2012R2 WDS PXE-E55: proxyDHCP service did not reply to request on port 4011 (ML310e Gen8 v2)
Built new WDS on platform to include DHCP and DNS.
Imported Boot and Install images from previous WDS hosted on DL360G5.
Came across this issue when trying to pxe and image new OOTB HP Elitebook 840 G1 and 850 G1 laptops. Older laptops pxe fine.
Decided to downgrade HP Broadcom 1GB 332i NIC Firmware from 4.0.0.32 to 4.0.0.22 on the server to test if a version issue. This fixed the problem.
So essentially, HP server NIC firmware code breaks HP Laptop NIC's from pxe booting!
Anyone experiencing this?
