SERVER HPML110G2, cannot shutdown, reset even disconnect

Hi Everyone!
I have a strange issue with this server (os windows 2003 SBS sp1 installed): after that i have removed the ups'control software, all the command for shutting down/restart/disconnect wont works at all. When u click on one of these command (in gui mode and even in command mode) nothing happens. The command shutdown using the command prompt do the same. No error message appear, its like the system ignore my input.
Initially (after ups'sw removing) the shutdown process was working, but after a couple of days the incident has come permanent.
I'm sure that i have correctly removed the ups configuration (also by control panel).
I don't know what to do now.
Any hint or help would be very welcome.

Hi Massimo,

If you can not shut down server from normal mode, try to shut it down in safemode if server shut down, you might have software problem, if not you might have hardware problem.

Tank u very much. As soon as i can, i'll try it.
In case that the issue occur even in safe mode, is it possible that the hw problem is due by mainboard?
