server ML350 G5 network slow
I have got a new server ML 350 G5 quad core and the file transfer from network is very slow. No errors in event viewer. The network adapter is HP NC373i, the driver version is 3.4.10.0 25/05/07. The operating system is Win2k3 R2 with SP2. The server has 2 hard drive sata in mirroring. Any ideas?

Re: server ML350 G5 network slow
hi
very common issue with those NC373i
I think this can help you
" hi
let me ask you. what is the proliant support that you have 7.7, 7.8 or 7.9, 7.91?
are you using Network configuration utility? if so which version?
--------
try this install SP2 and after that:
- unistall the existing driver for NIC cards NC373i
- reboot server
- install this driver
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/26385.html
if the issue continues disable TOE using this command line
------------DISABLE TCP CHIMNEY -----------
Netsh int ip set chimney DISABLED
"
anything else let us know

Re: server ML350 G5 network slow
Hi, I'm running into a simliar issue - the link to that driver seems to no longer be valid, would you have an updated link or know what driver that was?
Thanks!
