Server Performance reports
Hey Everyone,
We have two ML350 G3 servers and the network seems to be slow. I believe it is the servers as both have under 20% of disk space running RAID 5 with two partitions. Most users access there profiles & shared directories from these servers and they are DC's.
What is the best way for me to monitor these servers and I need get a few reports? Or can anyone point in the right direction for some manuals.
Appreciate your help
Regards,
Mark

Re: Server Performance reports
I believe the best why it´s to use the System Home page for monitor your servers.
Install the HP agents on your server.
And you can monitor your server by browser.

Re: Server Performance reports
Best way to monitor multiple HP servers is by using HP System Insight Manager(HP SIM)

There are many plug-ins available with HP SIM which can be installed according to your need.

Re: Server Performance reports
Thanks for everyone reply.
I am aware of HP SIM and have it running on a few servers but can HP SIM monitor Average Disk Queue, % Processor Time, Current disk queue lenght etc etc. All statiscal data that help me monitor the server over a few weeks. I am aware Windows PerfMon can do it but its limited.
Am I missing something?
Cheers,
Mark
