Server reboot unexpectedly when working with iLO
We have a Proliant DL380 G7 running Windows Server 2016. I am connecting to this server remotely by iLO Integrated Remote Console Ver 1.3.3.1964
On the server side, application HP Light-Out Online Configuration Utility ver 5.1.0.0 is runing.
Some times, when I am on this remote console, and remote video become sluggish and the mouse get out of my control like a poor internet connecting problem, then "No Video" will shown on the status bar but worse is sudden server reset. sometime I can see the boot screen and iLo continues to show the video.
I can say iLO is responsible to this sudden reset due to this happened many time in the past. resets only happens while we are working with iLO.
I had a theory that when we have a poor internet connection, the mouse clicks will get out of my control, and I may ocationally click on the iLo reset button, but recently when I even donot clicked on mouse , the reset happened.
I remember resets more when we were working with iLO and fixed by a patch which I have installed (Firmware 1.94) , but it is awhile that begins to happen again.
Update: I enconter to this error message when I opened the HP Light-Out Online Configuration Utility on the server:
Error encountered in execution of hponcfg.
ERROR: Error encountered while processing xml file.
but , this message donot shows up again after a while. Was it the source of reboots.?
please help me with this problem. thankyou.

Re: Query: Server reboot unexpectedly when working with iLO
I reset the iLo by web interface method. Does this solve our unexpected reboot problem?

Re: Query: Server reboot unexpectedly when working with iLO
I saw this on the iLO Event Log:
Severity Class Last Update Count Description
Caution iLO 3 03/07/2022 09:09 1 Server reset.
Caution iLO 3 03/07/2022 09:09 1 Host server reset by: Abidi.
No, I am Abidi and I didnt reset the server and didn`t even click my mouse in the time range near the reset.
I am going to make Reset Privilage denied for my user (Abidi). I think this is the solution.
